LG G4 is coming to Three and there's a sneak peek video

UPDATE:  The LG G4 is now in stock on Three with free next day delivery.

You can’t buy the LG G4 yet, well not unless you pop over to South Korea anyway, but Three has already confirmed that it will be coming to its network and to celebrate that fact it’s also created a sneak peek video of the phone.

The video does a good job of showing off the LG G4’s 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD display, which is ever so slightly curved.

It also highlights the back of the phone, though only the ceramic versions. You can see that the rear power and volume key has made a return and the camera has a super speedy laser autofocus, just like the LG G3, but it’s been upgraded to a 16 megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation 2.0.

While it’s not highlighted in the video it’s also worth noting that the LG G4 has an f/1.8 aperture lens, allowing it to capture up to 80% more light than the LG G3 and indeed far more light than most smartphones, for good performance even in dark environments.

There’s also an 8 megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus, so the G4 should be able to take sharp and detailed selfies.

Under the hood there’s 3GB of RAM and a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, designed to be both powerful and battery efficient. Speaking of battery, the LG G4 has a removable 3000mAh juice pack.

That’s something that’s been missing from a lot of recent flagships, as have microSD card slots, but LG delivers there as well, with support for cards of up to 128GB, allowing you to expand on the 32GB of built in storage.

The LG G4 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and as shown in the video the number of pre-installed applications has been scaled back, so users have more freedom to install just the apps that they want to use.

If you want the LG G4 on Three you’ll be able to grab it in either Titan Grey or Ceramic White, the latter of which will be exclusive to Three in the UK at launch. The network hasn’t yet confirmed when you’ll be able to buy it, but the handset is arriving in the UK on May 28th, so expect it around then.
