Monitor maker Viewsonic has tried its hand at 3G tablets more than once, with an early model, the Viewpad 10, launching on Windows 7 at the end of 2010. It wasn’t a big success, largely down to poor performance of a computer operating system squeezed down to fit in a ten-inch screen.
Viewsonic also released a line of 3G tablets running on Android, which fared a little better. The US company has since released a couple more Viewpad models with some hardware upgrades and the Android operating system. Check our reviews section for our thoughts on these tablets.
