Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Gear smartphone and the Galaxy Note 3 at IFA 2013 last week. Now Samsung have opened up pre-orders for both devices meaning that we finally know how much they'll cost in the UK.
Like always we're going to have pay more than our friends over the pond. Those looking to pickup the Samsung Galaxy Gear will be looking at a price of £299 - which is £70 more than the equivalent price in the US. That's a significant amount to pay for an accessory that still needs to connect with a smartphone or tablet.
One smartphone that can connect with the Galaxy Gear is Samsung's Galaxy Note 3. Samsung have also added their new phablet to the pre-order page where it's priced at an eye-watering £650 - although, to be fair it is a stunning phablet with a cutting-edge specification.
Interested in buying both devices ? Then Samsung have the deal for you because you get £100 of the total if you buy both the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear. That takes the total down to £848 which is still a huge amount of money to pay in a one lump sum.
Those interested in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might be better off waiting for the mobile operators to unveil their tariffs. We've already got confirmation that Three and EE will stock Samsung's phablet and we'd also expect it be made available on O2 and Vodafone.
