Nokia Lumia 1520 Image Leaked: 6 Inch Phablet With Quad-core processor

Nokia's Lumia 1520 is a 6 inch phablet that'll launch before the end of 2013.

Those looking for a high-end phablet already have the option of buying Samsung's Galaxy Note or Sony's Xperia Z Ultra - both stunning next-gen devices. Before the end of 2013 Nokia will launch their first phablet, the Nokia Lumia 1520 (previously code-named the Nokia Bandit).

A fresh image of Nokia's phablet has now been leaked by the normally reliable Twitter user EVLeaks. As you'd expect the Lumia 1520 adopts a similar design to Nokia's other Lumia smartphones , albeit with a much larger 6 inch touch-screen display.

Rumours suggest that the Lumia 1520 will be have a full 1080p (1920*1080 pixel) display and have a quad-core processor - both firsts for a device running Windows Phone. Microsoft are thought to be adding support for higher resolution displays and quad-core processors to Windows Phone in the next update, which will land before the end of the year.

With Nokia's mobile division now owned by Microsoft it only makes sense for them to be the first to showcase the platform's new features. What better way is there than launching their first ever phablet ? Currently, we don't know anything more about the Nokia Lumia 1520.
