Improved version of the HTC One with an octa-core processor - sounds great , right ?
The HTC One is one of the best smartphones released in 2013 - thanks to its premium unibody metal design and it's high-end specification. HTC are now rumoured to be working on an improved version of their flagship smartphone with an Octa-core processor.
Octa-core processors were brought to prominence by Samsung's Galaxy S4 and we recently reported that Samsung's Galaxy S5 will be powered by a 64-bit Octa-core processor. Could the new version of the HTC One be the first non-Samsung device to have an Octa-core processor ?
We sure hope so , and a new image purportedly taken from the new HTC One, suggests that it will. The image (posted below) reveals that the new version of the HTC One will have a new Octa-core processor and a bump up to 3GB of RAM - which would make it one of the most powerful smartphones in the world !
The leak, originating from Greek website Techcommunity, also hints that the improved HTC One will have the same 4.7 inch 1080p display and HTC's UltraPixel camera. Presumably, it'll come pre-loaded with Android KitKat and have a larger battery to accommodate all that extra power.
Obviously, the whole thing could be a fake - it's not exactly hard to fake an the Android settings screen, but we are hoping it's real. As soon as 3G hear more about the launch of the improved version of HTC One we'll let you know !
