HTC's Desire 300 is an affordable 4.3 inch Android smartphone.
HTC announced the HTC Desire 300 last week alongside the 4G Ready HTC Desire 601. The latter offers consumers a more affordable way to join the 4G revolution, while the former is an affordable Android smartphone which supports Ultrafast 3G - double the speed of standard 3G networks.

The HTC Desire 300 is an affordable entry-level smartphone, so it's specification isn't cutting-edge. However, for the majority of users it'll be perfectly adequate with it's 4.3 inch touch-screen being a standout feature. It runs at a 800*480 pixel resolution giving it a pixels-per-inch rating of 216 - perfectly adequate for browsing and social networking.
HTC's smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM. You'll also get a 5 mega-pixel rear-facing camera , 4GB of onboard memory and support for 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. While, it comes pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean and the latest version of HTC Sense.

HTC are yet to officially confirm the price of the HTC Desire 300. However, we expect HTC's smartphone to cost around £150 - which would make it pretty decent value. The UK's major operators are yet to confirm whether they'll stock the HTC Desire 300, but as soon as they do you'll be the first to know.
