Apple iPad Mini 2 To Come In iPhone 5S Colour Range ?
Apple's iPad Mini 2 looks set to adopt the iPhone 5S's new colour range.
Apple's iPhone 5S launch has proved to be a huge sucess with 9 million units sold in the first weekend. Apple's attention has now shifted towards the launch of the Apple iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 , which are both due to be unveiled next month (October 15th).
To many Apple fans the original iPad Mini was underpar due to the lack of a Retina display and a pricepoint which many deemed to be too high. The tech-giants are looking to set the record straight with the iPad Mini 2 , which is widely expected to feature a 7.9 inch Retina display - a good start.
A new image of the iPad Mini 2 (pictured above) has been leaked online , by Nowhereelse.fr, which shows a 'Space Grey' version of Apple's compact tablet. That's one of the 3 colours introduced in the iPhone 5S - with the other two being the polarising 'Gold' version and a new 'Silver' shade.
The Space Grey iPad Mini 2 is the only version to appear in leaked snaps, but it's looking pretty nailed-on that Gold and Silver versions will also be available. Martin Hajek has put together some renders of the Gold and Silver versions of Apple's iPad Mini 2 (pictured above and below) giving us a pretty good idea of how they'll look.
So , a 7.9 inch Retina display and the same colour range as the iPhone 5S.. but what else do we know about the iPad Mini 2?
Not a lot , with Apple managing to keep their usual levels of mystery and secrecy. However, it's sure to come pre-loaded with Apple iOS 7 and is rumoured to have an improved processor. As soon as 3G hear more about Apple's iPad Mini 2 you'll be the first to know.
