The Samsung Galaxy Note II was announced back in August and was originally expected to launch in the UK in September. However, it's now been delayed until October 2nd according to the shipping date listed on the Phones 4U website.
Phones 4U have also listed the price of the Galaxy Note II on their site where it's available free on Orange, O2 and Vodafone on contracts priced around £40 a month. Three will also stock the smartphone and we expect them to offer the best value tariffs !
Samsung's Galaxy Note II is even bigger than it's predecessor because it has a whopping 5.5 inch Super AMOLED touch-screen (1280*720 pixels). It's also a hugely powerful beast thanks to its 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features an improved version of Samsung's S-Pen interface with even more applications supported. While the smartphone also runs on Android Jelly Bean which is the latest version of Google's operating system.
Three different models will be available with a choice of either 16, 32 or 64GB of on-board memory. Other features include an 8 mega-pixel camera, 1.3 mega-pixel front-facing camera and support for NFC, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth.
3G hope to review the Galaxy Note II very soon and we have a good felling about Samsung's over-size smartphone.
