Sadly , the rumours didn't give an exact date on when HTC plan to make the latest version of Android available to download on the power-packed One X. Whenever it rolls out it's great news for owners of HTC's smartphone which is due to shortly be replaced by the HTC One X+ that comes pre-loaded with Jelly Bean.
3G wonders whether it could be worth picking up a HTC One X after the One X+ launches because it'll be significantly cheaper and will still have a great specification. Infact, our review of the HTC One X concluded that "Every so often a phone comes along that does everything right. It doesn't happen often, but the HTC One X is one of these examples of perfection. ".
The update to Android Jelly Bean will improve the HTC One X even further and adds support for actions within the notifications windows, improved home-screen widget management and an overall improvement in performance.
The HTC One X is currently available to buy on some great value deals on Three where you can pickup the smartphone free on contracts including a tariff costing £29 a month which gets you 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited mobile data.
