Visa have announced two new mobile services in Europe that enable users to carry out even more banking services on their mobiles.
The first new service is known as "Visa Mobile Person To Person" and enables users to make payments to any Visa cardholder from their mobile phone. The new application makes it easy to send payment to a contact, mobile phone number or Visa card without the recipient needing to be registered with the service.
The new service benefits from the same level of security as you'd expect with any Visa service and should prove convenient for paying back money you owe to a friend.
The second new service available to mobiles is "Visa Alerts" which notifies users whenever there registered card has been used to pay for an item. With Visa Alerts you'll now exactly when a payment has been made and it could also alert you of any fraud taking place on your card or give you piece of mind when making payments abroad.
Both new services are expected to be made available in October and we'll you keep you posted of any developments.
