Virgin have released a new application called Virgin Media TV Guide for Android smartphones.

The new application is similar to the Sky+ app already available and enables you to take advantage of the TiVo feature of your Virgin box while away from the TV. So for example, say your out and about and you've forgot to schedule your favourite show, then don't worry because you can use your mobile to setup the recording.

It's a very neat feature and the application also has a full and comprehensive TV guide so you can check if their is anything you might want to record. 

Obviously, in order to take advantage of this application you need the Virgin Media TiVo box and an Android smartphone. However, an iPhone version is already being produced and it shouldn't be too long till it launches.
