The Daily for iPad was launched way back in February for the US market. A video released at the time of the launch of The Daily for iPad can be viewed below. The Daily for iPad brought celebrity gossip, entertainment, news and sport to your iPad.
The Guardian Newspaper reports that The Daily for iPad is now available in the UK with a daily edition costing 69p and a year at £28 per annum. However the content is more akin to the US edition rather than a tailored UK edition.
This is likely connected to the fact that although 800K The Daily for iPad apps were downloaded it actually made a loss of some $10 million.
