Samsung Galaxy Y Appears On Vodafone Store
![]() |
The Samsung Galaxy Y was announced last month and follows Samsung's new naming procedure. The Y range is the lowest of all the Samsung range and is aimed at the "Youth" market and people looking for an easy-to-use affordable smartphone.
Vodafone have now added the smartphone to its "Coming Soon" page confirming that they will be stocking the device.
The specification of the Galaxy Y reflects its affordability, but it's still a perfectly decent smartphone. A 3 inch touch-screen is present, while it's powered by an 832Mhz processor and has a 2 mega-pixel camera. Amazingly, it still runs on Android 2.3 meaning it benefits from all the latest applications and mobile technology.
Vodafone didn't state a price or release date but we can't see it being priced over £100 and we'd expect it to launch in the next couple of weeks.
Once we hear more about the Samsung Galaxy Y we'll let you know.
