Samsung have been working away on Samsung Bada 2.0 since February this year and it has now gone live. In addition, the Samsung Bada 2.0 SDK ( Software Development Kit ) has been released to developers.
Samsung has also announced three new smartphones running on Bada 2.0 - these are the Samsung Wave III, Wave M and Wave Y. Samsung Bada 2.0 is available now whilst the new smartphones running on the Bada 2.0 operating system will appear in October.
Looking at Bada 2.0 Samsung says it brings multitasking, Web applications including HTML 5 and WAC, support for Near Field Communication (NFC) and voice recognition. There is also 3D sound and a personalized lock-screen which adds to the user experience.
