Motorola Milestone 2 To Get Android 2.3
Motorola Milestone 2, Android 2.3
![]() |
The Motorola Milestone 2 has been out a good while now and itself was the successor to the original Milestone. Even though it launched back in January the specification is still decent and it will definitely benefit from Android 2.3.
Motorola confirmed on their Facebook page that the Motorola Milestone 2 would be getting Android 2.3 in the 4th quarter of 2011. The smartphone currently runs on Android 2.2 which is pretty dated, so this new version will bring a new lease of life to the smartphone.
The Motorola Milestone 2 has a great specification which includes a 3.7 inch touch-screen, 1 GHz processor, 5 mega-pixel camera and 8GB of onboard memory. Our review of the Motorola Milestone 2 concluded that "The Motorola Milestone 2 offers a whole heap of features and does what we had hoped - improves on the original version."
Once we get an exact release date or news of the Android 2.3 launch for the Milestone 2 we'll let you know.
