Way back in July this year, Steve Jobs was talking at an Apple press conference about the iPhone 4 antenna issue when he said something that indicated a new phone was coming in October this year.
If this were true it meant either an updated iPhone 4 or the new iPhone 5 would arrive in October 2011.
Now it seems as though this is possible with Orange CEO Stephane Richard slipped up as he confirmed that the iPhone 5 will launch on 15th October in France. He said this in an interview on TV in France.
3G has to-date posted around 9 articles concerning leaked iPhone 5 launch dates but surely we must be heading for a launch soon and October has cropped up twice before.
Accepting the above is actually correct, then we would expect to see an Apple press release to officially launch the iPhone 5 towards the end of this month.
We can then see the full extent of the update from the Apple iPhone 4 to iPhone 5. Meanwhile a photo can be viewed above of both the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5.
