HP Touchpad Upgrade Incoming
![]() |
The HP Touchpad has been in the headlines of late thanks to a huge price reduction that saw incredible demand for the device.
The price-point of £89 was an amazing proposition and it made the Touchpad's sell like gold-dust. In the announcement for the new operating system update HP also hinted that they may do one more production run to meet the demand for the tablet.
However, the main news from the announcement was that the operating system would be getting an upgrade. No real details were given other than it will improve the functionality of the tablet , but webOS is a fantastic operating system already and we're sure the update will only make it even better.
Amazingly, the HP Touchpad now has the second highest installed user-base after the Apple iPad. This is mainly due to the low price-point which led to huge sales across Europe and the US.
Once we hear more about the HP Touchpad update or about a new production run we'll let you know.
