Firefox for Tablets will soon be ready for use by Tablet users. Mozilla say that Firefox for Tablets is well under development and will be available before long, but no precise date has been given.

Mozilla also say that Firefox for Tablets looks at home on Android 3.0 but retains all the familiar visual elements expected with Firefox e.g. it retains the signature big back button and a distinctive tab shape.

The Awesomebar allows easy access to bookmarks, history, and your synced desktop activity.

Mozilla have taken advantage of the larger screen size on tablets and now no problem exists displaying the tabs, which now exist in a persistent left bar in landscape mode. Switch through tabs with your left thumb, and scroll through web content with your right.

The tab bar is integrated with the menu item in portrait mode to free up browsing space.

Firefox for Tablets is nearly with us but no firm date as yet.
