BlackBerry App World was revamped to version 3.0 in August and underwent a Beta trial within a closed Beta trial. BlackBerry has now formally released BlackBerry App World 3.0.

In our earlier article "BlackBerry App World 3.0 Revamped" we outlined the changes to the home screens and revamped icons and also covered the splitting of the portal into three channels. This makes it a whole lot easier to to locate and manage apps and your subscriptions.

The portal has three channels covering themes, games and apps. Search has been improved with a search button on the home page. The facility to search apps etc by price, name, newest and most popular has been introduced.

BlackBerry App World 3.0 now comes with MyWorld which lets you keep track of apps downloaded, apps uninstalled, and subscriptions. Another cool feature is that you now get notified of app updates to apps you have already downloaded.

Sharing on BlackBerry App World 3.0 has improved with a new social sharing feature which offers sharing BlackBerry Messenger ( BBM ), email, SMS and Facebook and Twitter.
