Apple Announcing New iPhone On October 4th

By Simon Thomas on 28th September 2011

Apple has begun sending out invites to to a new launch at their head office.

For a long time it's been speculated that a new iPhone would be announced or ,in some cases, would hit stores in October. At least we know now half of that is true because Apple stated in its invites to the new event "Let's Talk iPhone".

You have to assume Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 5 and that is what everybody online expects. However, that isn't guaranteed because Apple are also thought to be working a more affordable iPhone , which has been code-named the iPhone 4 Nano.

Apple have done such a good job in keeping the new iPhone 5 secret and we hope this is finally the end of all the speculation that's been taking place over the last year.

Now we just have to hope that the iPhone 5 will come with all the improvements we expect which includes a faster processor, better camera and NFC support. If the Nano is announced alongside the iPhone 5 we'd expect to see a device with a "more affordable" screen and other selected components.

Like the whole world we have to wait patiently until Tuesday 4th October to see exactly how the future of the iPhone is going to develop.
