TomTom Updated For iPhone
![]() |
The popular navigation software TomTom has been updated to take advantage of the new features of the iPhone 4.
The most noticeable new feature of TomTom version 1.5 is the ability to navigate to a photo. It works by using a photos geo-tag to take you to the place where it was shot. This is useful because you can take a photo of a friends house and easily navigate back to it without the address.
Other new features include updated graphics to take advantage of the iPhone 4s retina display, faster loading maps and support for multi-tasking.
The TomTom application still offers all the features you've come to love such as HD Traffic service, IQ Routes, Turn-by-Turn navigation and Advanced Lane guidance.
The TomTom Application is available to download from the App Store right now and costs around £40. This may seem steep when you consider Google Maps is free, but its great value compared to a full TomTom solution.
