T-Mobile has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S will be getting Android 2.2 before the end of the month.

They also confirmed the update will be available on the Samsung Kies PC application , but it may well become available over the air at a later date.

The Android 2.2 update will bring a number of improvements to the Galaxy S including the ability to create your own person Wi-Fi network, the capability to install applications on a microSD card and full Flash 10.1 support.

Once we hear more about the update on other networks or when it actually launches we'll let you know.
