The Tablet announcements have continued with Samsung announcing its Samsung Galaxy Tablet at the IFA in Berlin.
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet runs on Android 2.2 , like the devices announced by LG, Archos and Viewsonic yesterday, and will be the first tablet launched by Samsung. It aims to bring PC-like web-browsing and multi-media experiences which you can use anywhere.
The specification of the Samsung Galaxy Tablet includes a 7 inch touch-screen, which is perfect for watching movies, reading documents or browsing the internet. It is powered by a 1 Ghz Coretex A8 processor, which enables playback of HD video content with Divx, Xvid, MPEG4, H.265 and many more formats supported .
Unlike the iPad it also features WiFi and 3G in the same device, as well as supporting Bluetooth 3.0. A front-facing camera is present which enables you to make video calls and a rear-facing camera can take videos and photos.
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet has full Adobe Flash 10.1 support so you can watch Youtube videos and view the internet in its full glory on the device. It also comes pre-loaded with "Readers Hub", which is Samsung's e-reading application that enables you to access a digital library of books. The Media Hub gives you similar access to Movies and the Music hub is self-explanatory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet will launch in the middle of Septemeber across Europe.
