Samsung Galaxy S Froyo Update Leaked
Samsung has yet to announce the release of Android 2.2 for the Samsung Galaxy S.
However, one has to presume that its imminent because some developers over at the XDA Developer forum have updated their mobile to Android 2.2.
The leak isn't installed in the regular manner and involves some technical expertise so we'd suggest only people with experience even consider installing the update.
The Samsung Galaxy S will receive full Flash 10.1 with the update to Android 2.2, the ability to turn your mobile into a personal WiFi Hotspot as well as improvements in speed and performance. Its been rumoured that the update also improves the GPS performance of the Galaxy S.
The video above shows the 2.2 update in action on a Samsung Galaxy S and was provided by a user on the XDAdeveloper forums.
Samsung are expected to confirm the Android 2.2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S very soon. It's only thought to have taken this long because of the custom Samsung interface that features on the Samsung Galaxy S.
