Nokia Launch Mobile TV Headset !
![]() |
Nokia has announced the release of a Mobile TV headset, which enables you to use a DVB-H signal to watch TV on your mobile.
This accessory is the first of its kind and will enable you to watch sports or live TV on your mobile, assuming you can get a Digital Video Broadband Handset signal.
The advantage of the accessory is that it uses less battery than webTV solutions and you also don't need to worry about data costs such as Wi-Fi or 3G.
The headset itself also features the ability to adjust volume and to deal with call reception so you don't miss a call while watching TV. The headset will work will Symbian^3 devices including the Nokia N8 and is likely to cost around £30.
DVB-H hasn't really taken off in the UK , with only a couple of trials taking place so we don't recommend you buy this accessory. However, in certain European countries such as Holland, Russia and Finland the network does exist.
