The Nokia 5230 has been overclocked by a user over at HX customs roms.

In an amazing overclock they have upped the processor speed from the stock speed of  434MHz all the way up to 800MHz. Whether the overclock is stable and what effect it has on the reliability of the mobile and the battery consumption is unknown.

The video above shows the phone being set to 800MHz which is a high-end speed on a budget mobile so if it proves to be reliable then it will make the phone highly desirable. It's been out over a year now and is available for just £90 on Pay As You go.
