Motorola announce the MileStone 2 and Defy Mobiles
Motorola Defy, Motorola Milestone 2
Smartphones in its range, the Motorola Milestone 2 and the Motorola Defy.
The Motorola Milestone 2 is the successor to the successful Milestone and the Milestone XT720 and will run on Android 2.2.
The specification of Milestone 2 includes a 3.7 inch touch-screen display which runs at a resolution of 480*854 pixels which will provide excellent browsing and multi-media playback. A 5 mega-pixel camera is also present which has an LED Flash and will record HD video.
A sliding QWERTY keyboard is also present which has now been modified to a four-line keyboard with raised buttons, which is a change that customers wanted to improve the usability. The old D-Pad has also been removed because it was just getting in the way.
The Milestone 2 is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, has 8GB of internal memory , microSD support up to 32GB and full Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
The Motorola Milestone 2 is due to launch in the 4th Quarter of 2010.
The second new mobile is the Motorola Defy(above) , which is a rugged smartphone aimed at those with extreme occupations or lifestyles. The Motorola Defy can withstand being dropped, scratched and is water-proof to IP67 standards.
The Motorola Defy runs on Android 2.1 and will have a lite-version of Adobe Flash and MotoBlur for social networking.
The Motorola Defy will also launch in the 4th Quarter of 2010.
