![]() |
Apple has yesterday released two important updates to developers. These are iOS 4.2 and iTunes 10.1. The idea is that developers can now prepare their own software to interface with iOS 4.2 and iTunes 10.1, plus feedback any bugs etc.
iOS 4.2 is the second beta mode of iOS4 and pending major issues will be released to the world in November.
iOS 4.2 is tailored for iPad, iPhone 4 ( plus 3G and 3GS ), and the majority of iPod touch users. The first beta version of iOS 4.2 was released only this month and 3G covered this here.
iOS 4.2 is primarily aimed at improving the Apple iPad experience and will introduce a number of new features including wireless printing, which has long been a big omission from the devices repertoire. Its thought with the new function your iPad will find your printer and install them without any extra software. Other additions will include a folder view and improvements in multi-tasking.
The beta version of iTunes 10.1 is said to support printing and brings improvements to Apple's social network for music i.e. Ping.
