GMail Updated On Android Mobiles
![]() |
Google has announced that it has updated its Google Mail application for Android Mobiles.
The new version of Gmail , which is compatible with Android 2.2, adds a couple of new features to the already excellent application.
One new addition is the Priority Inbox, which separates your important emails from your "standard" emails, which is a great feature particularly for business users. The urgent mails will also always appear at the top of your main inbox, so you can easily spot them.
Other new improvements include a redesigned header, access to quoted text and improved message replies.
They have also separated the update from coming with Android operating system updates, which means users who already have Android 2.2 can download them separately.
You can download the new updated GMail from the Android market right now.
