Free Wi-Fi Access for iPhone and Android Users
![]() |
BT Total Broadband customers can now get unlimited free Wi-Fi access across 1.6 million Wi-Fi hotspots via their Android smartphone, iPhone or laptop.
Basically there are two Apps called BT Fon iPhone App and BT Fon Android App which can be downloaded for free if you are BT Total Broadband customer. You then get unlimited access to any hotspot near you. You need your BT Total Broadband user name and password of course.
You will then be automatically logged in when near a hotspot. The main Wi-Fi access is provided by BT's Openzone network of 4000 UK hotspots but there is also BT's FON Wi-Fi network community. Any BT Total Broadband customer can also access Wi-Fi through a network of BT's FON Wi-Fi customers who share their bandwith with other BT FON Wi-Fi customers.
To download the App for the iPhone head to http://bit.ly/iPhoneBTFon or search for BTFON on the iPhone app store.
