Asda have announced 6 new deals , which offer you texts and calls for an upfront free.

Once you pay up-front you receive a certain number of calls and texts , which can be used over a 30 day period. In essence its a monthly contract that you pay up-front and one which you can't overspend, which will suit younger users.

The tariffs start at just £5 , which gives you 200 texts for use over the 30 day period. The £10 option offers you 100 texts and 100 minutes, while a text-heavy £12 gives you 500 texts.

Those more interested in calls can choose the 500 minutes option for £20 a month while for £25 you can get unlimited texts and calls.

You can get a SIM-card on ASDA for just £5 and then you can take advantage of these new deals.
