19th September 2002

Oneclick Co., a Korean manufacturer of handheld PDA devices, has certified their OCM 8000 wireless credit card terminal and Pocket PC PDA on Atomic Software's ecomPort wireless payment gateway. The ecomPort Gateway allows wireless transaction data to be routed to the leading credit card processors. Mobile merchants can now accept and authorize credit card payments using any CDMA network.

The OCM 8000 has won several Best Product awards in Korea, where it is already in widespread use. It is a full featured CDMA wireless credit card terminal including a card reader and high speed thermal printer. It also includes a 20 key keyboard for easier data entry and a paper cutter on the printer for easier receipt handling. Transaction times on the CDMA network average 7 to 10 seconds. CDMA 1XRTT is the newest generation of cellular technology that is being marketed by Verizon Wireless as "Express Network" and Sprint PCS as "PCS Vision."

The OCM 8000 is also a complete Pocket PC PDA, providing added value to the merchant. The OCM 8000 includes a large touch-screen display and many PDA functions including an Address book, To-do List, Date Book and more. Also included is a WAP compliant web browser for Internet access and phone capability for voice calls. Other Pocket PC applications can be installed by the merchant.
C. J. Yoon, Vice President and Head of R&D for Oneclick said, "We are very pleased to be working with Atomic Software to bring this new technology to market in the United States."

The Atomic ecomPort Wireless Payment Gateway provides connectivity from the CDMA network to the leading credit card, debit and check processors. Merchants do not need to change processors to take advantage of the OCM 8000 terminal. They can continue processing where they already have an established relationship. The merchant also receives a web based Merchant Console, a secure web service, for transaction reports. With the Merchant Console, merchants can review their transactions from anywhere they have web access. Simple pull down menus let the Merchant Console give access to real-time reporting for current transactions as well as a full year of transaction history.
Robert Brooks, Atomic Software's Director of Wireless Products states, "The OCM 8000 is just what many merchants have been looking for, a complete credit card terminal integrated with a fully functional Pocket PC PDA and including CDMA phone capabilities. This terminal has features for everyone."
