LG Mobile Phones is participating in ThunderDorm 2002 "The Ultimate Campus Technology Tour" throughout the United States. Beginning September 12th and running through November 15th 2002, LG's latest handsets -- model numbers 1010, 4NE1, 5350, VX10, VX2000 and VX9000 will all be showcased for college students across the country. The handsets will be prominently featured in ThunderDorm's "Ultimate Dorm Room," raffled off in sweepstakes and shown in other activities designed to celebrate the convergence of technology and college life.

ThunderDorm Campus Technology Tour is a 330 Youth (An Alloy Company) event that focuses on promoting today's most popular electronic products and gadgets. Other ThunderDorm activities include the BuzzNet Audio Pavillion, live DJ, sponsored activity tents and interactive product demonstrations. Last year, college students spent $500 million dollars on consumer electronics and this number is expected to grow exponentially in years ahead.

The ThunderDorm Experience is a promotional tour celebrating the latest technology available to accommodate the college lifestyle. In addition to showcasing these six LG cutting-edge new mobile phones, LG has also donated handsets for giveaways to be used in raffles. College students nationwide will be able to experience all the latest and greatest mobile phones from LG.
The tour begins in the fall and will include visits to 23 college campuses nationwide, as well as the College Fest in Boston. The tour will kick off on September 12th at the University of Connecticut.
