3G Roaming Agreement

Telekom Austria Group's mobile subsidiary Mobilkom Austria, leading provider in the domestic mobile communications market, announced the stipulation of a national roaming agreement with Hutchison 3G Austria. This agreement provides that Mobilkom Austria's A1 network will be available for future Hutchison customers for GSM telephony services as well as GSM/GPRS data services, thus catering for mobile communications services beyond UMTS coverage. A decisive factor in the choice of Mobilkom Austria as cooperation partner was the high quality and blanket coverage of the GSM network as well as the stability of the company. The financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed. |
