Telecom Market in China Showing Favorable Growth in 3G

ASIA : With 3G strategies in place, Telecommunication market will grow both rapidly and stably in the next four-five years.

A definite development schedule has been given to the third generation or 3G, as it’s known commonly, mobile telecom in China. A broad range of new telecom services like multimedia services, mobile banking etc. will be offered by 3G, whereas current mobile telecommunication services focus mainly on voice business. Also, consumers will enjoy more exciting mobile life and much improved quality of services.

Launch of 3G strategies will offer hordes of opportunities for mobile handset and equipment suppliers, in China, to grow internationally. Besides mobile operators, fixed line operators will also benefit from 3G strategies. With low fees and low-end terminals operators are all set to lure customers.

China Unicom and China Mobile have plans to develop 3G subscribers on 2G platforms. Mid and high-end users, with strong data service demands, will be the targets of these two companies.
