Multi Carrier Tower Mounted Booster Amplifier for UMTS 3G Networks

Canada : Mitec Telecom Inc. is pleased to announce the market introduction of a new generation integrated multi carrier tower mounted booster (TMB) amplifier for UMTS applications at 2.1 GHz. This 30W unit brings Mitec one step closer to having a CPRI compliant TMB for base station hotelling applications. Wireless operators in Europe and Asia will use these units for network trials.

"It is our objective to provide product solutions that enable wireless service providers to attain faster and more cost effective network evolution and growth," said David Kennedy, Mitec Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing. "This category of products complements the power amplifiers we already supply as an embedded system to network OEM's."
