Sony Xperia Z Ultra On Three - Prepare For The Future
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is one of Sony’s greatest smartphone creations yet. It combines an enormous 6.4 inch 1080 x 1920 Triluminos screen with a powerful 2.2 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
Like other recent Xperia handsets it’s also dust and water resistant, so is better able to survive rain and accidents. At 212g and just 6.5mm thick it’s both very thin and quite light, which combined with its glass back and metallic frame gives it an air of exquisite quality.
Plus it has an 8 megapixel camera with an Exmor RS sensor, supports NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 and ships with Android 4.2 Jellybean.
In other words it’s a great phone and it’s arriving on Three on Monday, with prices starting at just £34 a month plus an upfront cost of £99 on a 24 month contract, for 500 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited data.
If you want more minutes you can opt for a £36 a month plan which gives you 1000 minutes and is otherwise identical or for a £38 per month plan for 2000 minutes and 5000 Three-to-Three minutes, plus the same 5000 texts and unlimited data as the other plans.
Three is the only major network to still offer unlimited data plans and there are few better ways to enjoy one than with the big screen of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
Better yet, Three’s Ultrafast 3G is typically faster than competitors 3G networks and as the Sony Xperia Z Ultra is 4G ready you can prepare yourself for the future, since Three will give you 4G access at no extra cost once it starts rolling out its 4G network in December.
4G on a big screen with no data limits and reasonable prices sure sounds good to us and with the Sony Xperia Z Ultra on Three it can soon be a reality.
Other networks such as O2 and Vodafone also have the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and they have 4G already, but they don’t have unlimited data. So for a future proofed phone and a future proofed tariff, Three could be the network to go for, even if it means waiting a while longer to get 4G.
