Google Nexus 5 Touching Down November 1st
Not long to wait now for Google's Nexus 5
We were expecting Google to unveil the Nexus 5 on October 14th. However, that date has been and passed and wer'e still waiting for Google's next smartphone to make its debut - but it doesn't look like we'll have to wait much longer.
The usually reliable Twitter user EVLeaks is claiming that Google will unveil the Nexus 5 at the end of this week. The search-giant will unveil their latest smartphone creation at a press event taking place on Friday (November 1st).
A new image of the Nexus 5 also accompanied the news of its launch date. The image (posted above) shows both White and Black versions of the LG-made smartphone. It's noticeable that the back cover no longer features the textured (almost glittery) design that appears on the Nexus 4, and we think the new cleaner look is a vast improvement.
Previous leaks have suggested that both 16 and 32GB models of Google's smartphone will be available, priced at £239 and £299 respectively. The 4.95 inch Android smartphone has a high-end specification including: a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor, an 8 mega-pixel camera and support for 4G LTE.
We'll bring you all the news from Google's press event on Friday as it happens. Until then you might want to checkout our Google Nexus 5 rumour roundup below.
