Samsung released the Android Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy SIII last week and Three have already released the update to its customers.
Galaxy S3 owners on Vodafone and O2 will be glad to hear that both operators have now released the update. Users with a Galaxy SIII on Vodafone or O2 should look out for the update notification or connect their smartphone to Samsung's Kies software on a desktop PC to update.
The update to Android Jelly Bean will bring a whole host of improvements to owners of Samsung's flagship smartphone. One of the major new additions is "Google Now" which is Google's version of Siri and a more accurate one at that.
Another excellent new feature is the addition of support for actions in the notification bar which enables users to conduct simple tasks, such as calling someone back quickly and easily. The on-screen QWERTY keyboard has also been improved, while the whole operating system is faster thanks to "Project Butter".
As always 3G recommend users backup their files and data before they update Android Jelly Bean. Additionally, you might want to download the update over WiFi so you don't use up your valuable data allowance.
