O2 have announced that they'll be stocking Samsung's recently announced Galaxy SIII Mini when it launches in the UK.

The smartphone has appeared on O2's "Coming Soon" page where it's listed as launching in November. Sadly, no exact launch date is listed but we've heard that November 8th is the most likely launch date for Samsung's smartphone.

O2 also didn't make any prices available for Samsung's more compact and affordable version of the Galaxy SIII. However, we'd expect it to be available free on contracts starting at around £27 a month, but we'll just have to wait and see.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini has a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch-screen (800*480 pixels) which gives the smartphone dimensions of 121.55 x 63 x 9.85mm. While the S3 Mini is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor, has 8GB of onboard memory and a 5 mega-pixel camera.

Samsung's smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean and does support 4G LTE, but sadly O2's network isn't anywhere near ready at this time. You can find out more about the Galaxy SIII Mini on O2's website by clicking here.
