Apple are expected to unveil the iPad Mini on October 17th and some images have now leaked online ahead of the expected unveiling. The images, which can be viewed above and below, were posted by 9to5mac and give us some indication of what to expect from Apple's tablet.
The first image leaked compares the iPad Mini to the fully-fledged iPad and the tablet looks to have a display around 8 inches. This sits well with all the previous rumours which hinted that the iPad Mini would have a 7.85 inch Retina display.
One interesting thing revealed by the leaked images is the iPad Mini features a rear-facing camera. This is encouraging because it was expected that Apple would cut the camera support to keep down the cost of the iPad Mini.

The only other thing 3G can glean from the images is that the iPad Mini will include Apple's new "Lightning Dock" connector . This isn't a major surprise because its now likely to feature on all of Apple's future devices.
The iPad Mini rumours have been doing the rounds for so long already, but these fresh images are the most convincing we've seen so far. Hopefully, Apple will finally unveil the iPad Mini next week to put an end to the speculation.
