Apple unveiled the iPad Mini (pictured above) and the 4th generation iPad yesterday at an event in California and Three have now confirmed they'll be stocking both devices.
Three will offer both tablets on a choice of deals including pay monthly tariffs which reduce the upfront fee of the tablets. Sadly, at the current time we don't have any details of Three's tariff, but we're sure it won't be long before they appear because both tablets are expected to launch on November 2nd.
Sadly, Three won't be able to offer its customers 4G LTE because the network won't be available until next year. However, they shouldn't be too concerned because Three's super-fast 3G network offers average speeds of 6-8 Mbps and will be available to 50 per cent of the UK before the end of 2012.
The new iPad Mini is a compact version of the fully-fledged iPad and has a 7.9 inch touch-screen , while it's powered by a dual-core A5 processor. Apple is claiming it's equal to the iPad 2 and other features include a 5 mega-pixel snapper, a 1.3 mega-pixel front facing camera and either 16, 32 or 64GB of onboard memory.
The 4th generation iPad improves on the previous version by having a new A6X processor, which is double the speed of the one in the "New iPad". While it also has an improved 1.2 mega-pixel front-facing camera , adds the new "Lightning" connector and supports 4G LTE.
3G will let you know more about Three's iPad Mini and iPad deals when they are unveiled !< Back
