Huawei were listed as one of the manufacturers supporting the Windows Phone 8 platform when Microsoft announced its new operating system. Since then we've heard rumours about the Huawei Ascend W1 and now some images of the smartphone have leaked over on Twitter.
Well respected leaker EVLeaks has posted the rendered image of the Huawei Ascend W1, which we've posted for you to checkout above.
Sadly , no details of the specification we're given in this latest leak. However, previous leaks have suggested that the Huawei Ascend W1 will have a 4 inch touch-screen, a dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and a 5 mega-pixel camera.
This makes it a mid-range smartphone and we'd expect it to be priced around £300 putting it in compeittion with Samsung's Galaxy S3 Mini.
Microsoft are holding a Windows Phone 8 launch event on October 29th where they'll presumably unveil all the smartphones running on the platform then. Therefore, 3G firmly expect the Huawei Ascend W1 to be unveiled at the event.
