Google have sent out invites to an Android event taking place in New York on October 29th where they could well unveil some new Nexus devices.
The invites come with the tag-line 'The playground is open' so it's quite possible that we'll just see improvements to Google Play and the Android platform. However, we're also hopeful Google will unveil some new Nexus devices.
At the very least we expect Google to showcase the 32GB Google Nexus 7 which was leaked earlier today by Argos. If you missed our original report it looks set to be priced at £199 which is identical to the 16GB model, but it won't come with £15 of Google Play credit.
Google could also unveil the LG Nexus which is rumoured to be the next Google branded smartphone. We're pretty confident we'll see Google unveiling the new LG Nexus at the event on October 29th and we already have a good idea what specification it'll have.
Those previous rumours suggest that the LG Nexus will have a 4.7 inch IPS display (1280*720 pixels) and will be powered by a quad-core 1.5 Ghz processor. It's also expected to have 2GB of RAM , 8 or 16GB of on-board memory and will run on Android Jelly Bean.
3G will be reporting on all the breaking news from Google's event at the end of the month, so check back nearer the date to find out all about the future of Android and Google's devices.
