Google Calendar

Google have now added the Google Calendar application to Google play where it's available to download on all Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean devices. Previously, only owners of the Nexus S and Google Nexus , but thankfully that's all changed.

The Google Calender application enables users to manage all their calendar activities in one place and adds extra features over the calender that comes pre-loaded on Google's operating system.

Like all good calender applications Google Calender enables you to create and edit events, as well as responding to invitations from friends. Additionally, you can snooze events if you want to delay them until a later date.

One neat feature of Google's Calendar application is the option to send predefined messages to event participants. For example, if your going to be late you can quickly inform the people your meeting.

Frequent travellers will be pleased to here you can also set a home time-zone, which makes it even easier to manage things when abroad. Google have also increased the sync period to 1 year so you can easily check where you where and at what time !

Owners of Android devices can download the Google Calendar application from Google Play Right Now , but you will have to be running Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean.
