The Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini was unveiled last week and now we've got a launch date for the smartphone in the UK.
The online retailer Expansys have added Samsung's smartphone to its website where it's listed as launching on November 8th. That's a little later than we've heard in previous leaks, but for now we'll have to assume it's correct.
The price of the Galaxy S3 Mini is listed at £315 which reflects the more affordable nature of the mobile . However, its that much cheaper than the Galaxy SIII (around £410) so we'll be interested to see how consumers react to the smartphone.
For those who missed the original announcement the Galaxy SIII Mini has a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch-screen (800×480 pixels) , which puts the dimensions of the smartphone around 121.55 x 63 x 9.85.
A dual-core 1 GHz chip powers the smartphone, while it also has an 8 mega-pixel camera and 8GB of onboard memory. The smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean and supports 4G LTE, but we've yet to hear whether it'll be available on EE in the UK.
3G will be reviewing the Galaxy SIII Mini very soon and we're interested to see how it goes down with consumers. We're sure there are people around who want a smaller smartphone than the Galaxy SIII, but do they already own an iPhone ?
