Three have added the Asus VivoTab RT 10.1 tablet to its "Coming Soon" page and presume it'll land in November when the Windows 8 platform launches.
The Asus VivoTab is a premium tablet which runs on Windows RT which offers all the benefits of the desktop version of Windows 8 , but with the added bonus of being optimised for use on tablets.
As the name suggests the VivoTab RT 10.1 has a 10.1 inch Super IPS+ display running at a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. While the tablet is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and has a more than ample 2GB of RAM.
The VivoTab RT 10.1 has 32GB of on-board memory , while the tablet has a rear-facing 8 mega-pixel camera and a front-facing 2 mega-pixel snapper. Asus's tablet also benefits from all the advantages of Windows RT including coming with Office 2013 pre-loaded !
When Asus unveiled the VivoTab 10.1 it was announced that it would support 4G LTE, although that won't be possible on Three until next year. However, it's possible that EE will stock the tablet but we've yet to get confirmation from the operator.
