Virgin Media Get Access To Orange Network
Orange, T-Mobile, Virgin Media

Virgin Media just became a more interesting proposition because they've now gained access to Orange's mobile network.
In the past Virgin has had access to the T-Mobile network but they've since merged with Orange to form Everything Everywhere. Since the merger Virgin have missed out on taking advantage of the merger, but they've now got access to Orange's mobile network.
In theory this should mean a much better signal and customer experience for Virgin customers. When using a Virgin mobile you'll automatically be switched to the network with the best coverage.
One thing that current Virgin customers should note is that currently when you switch you might get a message alerting you that you'll be charged. However, this isn't the case and this is just a mistake that is soon to be sorted.
Virgin has now become a much more interesting alternative to the mainstream networks and we'll be interested to see if the addition of the Orange networks leads to more customers.
