HP have released a new version of its webOS operating system for the HP Touchpad tablet. Version 3.0.4 brings a number of new features and improvements to HP's already excellent tablet.
A new camera application is included for the front-facing camera, while support for OGC Vorbis music files has also been included. The biggest improvement is the addition of support for paring with non-webOS phones, as well as non-webOS Bluetooth keyboards.
Other noticeable improvements include improved Flash support, better App Catalog browsing and additional email features. The 3.0.4 webOS update also brings general improvements in performance , bug fixes and rectifies a number of security flaws.
Those lucky enough to pickup the HP Touchpad when it was offering for £89 earlier in the year can now enjoy an even better experience by updating to the latest version of webOS.
You can download the update over-the-air right now and we'd recommend you do it over WiFi.
