Ice Cream Sandwich Coming To Samsung Devices
Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung Galaxy SII, Samsung Galaxy Tab

Samsung have announced that Google Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) will be coming to a number of their devices.
The devices that will be supported include the Samsung Galaxy SII, Samsung Galaxy Tab (in all sizes) and the Samsung Galaxy Note. Android 4.0 runs on both smartphones and tablets as you can see by the supported devices.
However, even though these devices will be upgraded , Samsung has stated that they won't become available until the 2nd quarter of 2011. That does seem like a long time, so it's possible that it's hard to upgrade older mobiles to Android 4.0.
Another possibility is that Samsung are delaying updating other mobiles to try and sell more Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphones. The Galaxy Nexus is the first mobile to run Ice Cream Sandwich. The guys at 3G think this is quite unlikely because other companies will launch Android 4.0 phones as well as upgrading their old mobiles to the new OS.
Once we hear anymore about any mobiles being upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich you'll be the first to know.
